Rick Stein Tastes the Blues coming on Tuesday 15 November 2011 on BBC Four at 9pm. As part of a BBC season looking at American culture, Rick Stein will be crossing the seas to the home of the Blues for some lip-smacking tastes and flavours. Rick will travel to Mississippi to listen to Blues and taste the food that features in the lyrics of some of his favourite songs.

Hairy Bikers Bakeation coming Tuesday 15 March

The much loved Hairy Bikers are coming back to screens next week with their new baking series, European Bakeation. Dave and Si will be enduring thousands of miles on their bikes in search of inspiration and new baking techniques. Starting in Norway on Tuesday, the bikers will travel down the amazing west coast meeting all sorts if people and specialist bakers. Baking has become a massive hobby for many people, and the Hairy bikers are certain to please with some great ideas and recipes.

Coming up - Nigellissima episode 3 coming

Nigella brings us yet more wonderful Italian inspired recipes in episode 3 of her great new series - Nigellissima. Coming on Monday 8 October, Nigella will be showing us a great pork loin recipe that she will stuff with Parma ham and Oregano, all served up with a speedy mock mash and a vignarola. A vignarola can be described as a medley of vegetables including peas, spring onions and artichokes, but we're sure Nigella will give this classic side dish her own special treatment. Nigella will be providing another pasta dish of spelt spaghetti with a no-cook olive and anchovy sauce.

Nigel Slater returns to our screens in October.

There is some good news for Nigel Slater fans, he is returning to our screens on Friday 12 October for a fourth series of his popular Dish of the Day program. Nigel Slater’s Dish of the Day will be screened on BBC 1 at 19:30, so be sure to catch the first episode. So far, we have not details on recipes, but we will update as soon as we have some details for you. There’s more! We can reveal that Nigel will also be appearing in a 2012 Christmas special on BBC 1, and a documentary on BBC4 over the coming months.
